error code 162,0,0 when try to scan from canon

When you're USB scanning, on the all-in-one Canon ImageClass MF series device you need to press the scan button twice, or as many times as required until you see "USB SCANNING" instead of "NETWORK SCANNING".  Then you're free to scan.
